Everything Everywhere All At Once: Heartfelt Fury

Alcove: We saw a lot of creative, wacky stuff, like the hot dog fingers. What kind of ideas were left on the cutting room floor?

Daniel Scheinert: There’s one that some people on set would say, ‘that’s my favorite thing I’ve ever worked on’, and it’s called Spaghetti Baby Noodle Boy. It’s a universe where a talking macaroni doesn’t understand why he’s not a spaghetti, and his mom has to explain to them he’s a macaroni. Spaghetti Baby Noodle Boy was voiced by Jenny Slate, and she did an incredible job. And it just didn’t quite fit in the movie. We would test it and people would be like, ‘I don’t know why there’s a two minute spaghetti scene.’ It’s a Blu-Ray. It’s not dead forever.
